We provoke unusual moments with common materials and natural light. The idea was to follow a path of research generating light effects to gain a deeper understanding. We generated a set of light experiments; some following a hypothesis but most of them were the result of unconscious play.

This intuitive way of working drew us to sparkles and gloss; I found the natural evolution of the project very honest and sincere; like when young children get attracted to shiny things. A habit carried to the adult life most researchers attribute to the innate need for water. What I find interesting is the serendipity of the project draws me to discover the subconscious human tendency to love gloss and shine.
